My next stop is Hawaii! My friend, Katie, has been living in Hawaii this past year, and I managed to squeeze in a trip to see where she lives. I have known Katie for awhile since our families have been friends since high school. She ended up teaching in Hawaii for two years before returning back to Maryland, but Hawaii just tugged on her heart strings, so she returned. After talking last summer via facebook, she said I could take a trip over my spring break to travel Hawaii!!
I am so excited to see Hawaii. I have never been west of Denver, so making it to the Pacific is just exhilarating! The trip has been booked, and take-off is in exactly 31 days! To make the trip even more exciting is a friend from work, Amy, is also making the trip with me. Time to start planning the events of the trip for an adventurous and relaxing trip!
