About Me

My name is Margaret to those who knew me before college, and my name is Maggie to those who know me after college.  It's kind of interesting when you go out with people from both stages at the same time.  I was born and raised in Maryland.  It would only make sense that I continue my schooling and occupation in Maryland.

I graduated from Mount St. Mary's University in 2008 with a bachelors in Elementary and Special Education.  From there I got my first real job!  I became a special educator in the Howard County Public School System, which is where I went to school as a child.  Since being a first year teacher wasn't enough for me, I decided to go back to school.  I received a Masters in Administration and Supervision from Johns Hopkins University in the spring of 2011.

In addition to all that boring stuff of school and work, I also have a life.  I have amazing friends and family.  We are constantly doing new and exciting things nearby in addition to all of our travels!
