Is it Time to Make a List of New Year's Resolutions?

Every year we tell ourselves the same old things...  I am going to change.  I am going to go to the gym.  I am going to eat better.  I am going to save money... blah... blah... blah...

Well maybe this year's New Year's Resolutions will be the ones to stick.  Over the past few days, I have had time to think about how to become a better person.  First things first, I need to stop thinking about what everyone else thinks of me and start acting on what I say I am going to do.  I have these big ideas of what I want to accomplish, but I am afraid if I do them all at once, then they won't stick.

1.  Get fit (again) -- gym and eating right
2.  Volunteer
3.  Checking out new places/Traveling (on an inexpensive budget when possible)
4.  Figure our where I want my career to go
5.  Get my savings in order (look into investments, create and stick to a budget)
6.  Read more

These are just a few of my bright ideas, but I do need to think a little more.  Maybe come up with a game plan of what to do.  Perhaps with the right game plan, my New Year's Resolutions will stick!
