After our lesson we headed back to the pool. This evening the Boccaccini's had business partners and friends over for dinner. We had quite the seafood feast. We started out with octopus. Yes, octopus and the octopus was thinly sliced like you would eat sliced ham and turkey on a sandwich. The octopus was delcious, especially when it had some of Italy's best olive oil drizzled on it. Following the octopus we had clams and mussels, and then of course we ate the pasta. Our seafood feast kind of reminded me of a crab feast, but without the Maryland steamed crabs. I think Maryland steamed crabs might be my meal request when I return to the States in a couple of weeks.

Clams, Mussels, and OCTOPUS!
Today was a much needed relaxing day. I slept in after many mornings of getting up bright and early to go sightseeing. Once I got up, I headed to the pool. There I soaked up the sun, and I read my kindle. I have to say that getting a kindle is one of the best things I have ever done. I don't have to worry about lugging around multiple books or getting stuck with not liking the selection I brought. The kindle has been my reading savior while traveling. This afternoon I had another English lesson with Gregorio. Usually I do lessons during the week, but I was away from Wednesday through Friday, so I was making up for lost time. We talked about transportation today. I have to say that Gregorio gets better and better every day :)
